Dating back to 1st Century A.D., this 2,000 year old Roman Glass was unearthed in the Holy Land outside of Jerusalem. Using various testing and analysis measures including Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), the amounts of Iron Oxide are consistent with the colours of untreated, very early glass of that era and location.

Each piece is unique but all comes from the same archaeological site. Kiln ash, bubbles and other marks may be present in certain pieces, and is an important aspect in the glasses character.
